Spring 08'

The Wave Length
A Newsletter Devoted to Self-Resourcing
of the Mind, Body and Spirit

Spring is the time to awaken your Spirit from the long winter months and to
seize your dreams into manifestation.  Do you know what you wish to manifest in
your life right now?  Do you know the steps to take to create the life you have
always intended to live?

Many of my
Clients find that they really don't know what they want or they know
what they want but can't manifest it into happening.  One of the greatest ways in
which to address this is to learn how to calm the mind in order to ascertain what
our needs and true desires are.  Once we know what we wish to aspire to, then
we can make cogent and strategic plans that will produce the types of life
changes we wish for.  Making meaningful changes in our lives is not always as
fast as we want.  The saying, "Patience is a Virtue" is indeed true.  But with a
strategic plan, step by step, you can reach your goals and create the life you
desire.

Calming of the mind not only creates a wonderful peaceful experience it also
allows you to bring into focus your inner landscapes and quietly ask your
"higher" self the questions of your heart's desire.  You will be amazed how your
own
intuition will pave the way between your mind and your spirit, creating a
virtual highway of information geared specifically toward your soul's evolution
and supplying guidance in your day to day world.

There are many techniques that will bring calmness to the mind.  The following
technique is simple and requires 5-10 minutes.

Step One:
Locate a place where you will not be disturbed for 5-10 minutes.  Turn off your
phone/cell phone.

Step Two:
Sit comfortably.  Do not lay down (often folks will get so calm, they simply fall
asleep!)

Step Three:
Close your eyes.

Step Four:
Take "10" deep breaths.  Inhaling through the nostrils and exhaling through your
mouth.
On each exhale, picture and feel your body relaxing deeper and deeper.
Your muscles are relaxing, from the top of your head and slowly down your body
to your toes.

Step Five:
With your eyes closed,  keeping them positioned as if you were looking straight
forward, quietly breathe at your natural pace, watching your breath going in and
out.  Just like the waves coming onto the shore and back and forth to the sea.

Step Six:
After 3 minutes or so, you will notice a calmness enveloping you.  (If your mind is
overactive during this exercise, simply tell your mind that just for now you wish
to bring a calm space into your consciousness and that all the mind chatter and
creative thinking can rest for a few minutes!)

Step Seven:
Continue on with Step 5...... up to 10 minutes.
~~~
Once you have completed the exercise above,  your mind will be more able to
clearly partner with your spirit in expressing answers to your questions.  It is
now a perfect time to write down your questions and journal your answers.  You
will be amazed at the profound inner wisdom and guidance you will receive.
For additional ambiance that assists in pro
moting calmness, you may wish to
add the following:
  1.  Light a candle
  2.  Burn some incense
  3.  Play soothing music quietly in the background.
This daily exercise can be performed as many times per day as you wish.
Eventually you may find that a longer stretch of time per sitting is desired.
